Start: 2024

Pay: $25-30/HR depending on specialty

Benefits: Per Diem, Single Housing, Flight/Travel to/from assignment, Courtesy transportation to and from each shift provided

 

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning Patient Rooms: Clean and sanitize patient rooms, including changing bed linens, disinfecting surfaces, and restocking supplies.
  • Disposal of Medical Waste: Properly dispose of bio-hazardous materials, such as used needles, in accordance with hospital guidelines and regulations.
  • Public Areas Maintenance: Clean and maintain common areas of the hospital, including waiting rooms, hallways, and restrooms, ensuring they are tidy and free from hazards.
  • Infection Control: Follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infections, including thorough cleaning and disinfection of high-touch surfaces.
  • Laundry Services: Collect, sort, and wash linens, towels, and other hospital textiles, ensuring they are clean and well-maintained.
  • Restocking Supplies: Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and toiletries in patient rooms and other designated areas as needed.
  • Reporting Maintenance Issues: Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
  • Adherence to Safety Standards: Comply with all safety and health regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other housekeeping staff and hospital personnel to ensure a coordinated and efficient approach to cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Emergency Response: Assist during emergencies, such as spills or accidents, by promptly cleaning and disinfecting affected areas.


Requirements:

  • Must have experience in chosen specialty
  • BLS
  • Up to 10 days away from home
  • COVID Vaccine + Booster
  • MUST SUBMIT A CURRENT RESUME TO BE CONSIDERED.
